Can an AI agent do business with your website?

AI agents visit websites on people's behalf. They look up information, fill in forms and request quotes. AI Agent Check tests whether that works on your website, and where it gets stuck.

Task given to the agent

Book a maintenance visit, preferably next week.

  1. Opened the home page
  2. Heating menuThe maintenance page can only be found in a drop-down menu that opens when you hover over it.
  3. Service and maintenance page, Contact us button
  4. Filled in the contact formThere is no field for a date, so the preference for next week went into the free-text field.

4 out of 4

Reached the submit button. All required fields were filled in and accepted. We never send anything.

An agent that only sees screenshots probably has more trouble with a hover menu like this. That is why we will test every task with three kinds of agent.

Example from a short pilot test on the public website of a heating installer, October 2026. One attempt, by one kind of agent: an agent that reads the page's text and structure. Nothing was sent. We leave out the company's name.
